Open-Top Vapor Degreasers

An open-top vapor degreaser, available in both manual and automated twin sump configurations, is a versatile and efficient solution for precision cleaning. These systems feature two separate sumps—one for cleaning and one for vapor recovery—ensuring a continuous, high-performance degreasing process. The manual version allows for hands-on control, making it ideal for smaller batches or customized cleaning needs, while the automated twin sump design provides seamless operation for larger volumes, reducing labor and improving throughput. With advanced vaporization technology, these degreasers effectively remove oils, greases, and contaminants from parts, offering both consistency and reliability across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and electronics.

Vapor-Only Open-Top Degreasers

A vapor-only degreaser relies solely on the power of solvent vapor to clean parts. The solvent is heated to create vapor, which rises and condenses on the cooler parts being cleaned. As the vapor condenses, it dissolves contaminants like oils and grease, and the part is then gently wiped or allowed to air dry. This process is efficient for delicate components and commonly used for on larger parts with light to moderate contamination.

Many vapor-only units also include a manual spray wand, allowing operators to apply solvent directly to specific areas of the part that may need additional cleaning or to target heavier contamination. This added feature enhances the flexibility of the cleaning process, providing precise control when needed while maintaining the gentle vapor cleaning action for more delicate or intricate components.

All Vapor-Only units are made to order so the size of the unit is made to fit your parts, with a focus on minimizing solvent loss.
